The menu is vast and the portions enormous: come hungry and bring friends to best enjoy the convivial, home-grown atmosphere that truly earns this establishment its beloved reputation. On weekends, come early to avoid the late breakfast rush--at 10 a.m., the line gets long and the seating is scarce, but the food is worth the (surprisingly quick) brunch-hour wait times. The enormous menu covers not only all breakfast foods (including mouth watering omelettes, $5.95), but also many types of sandwiches (all large and fresh and priced near $7 with fries)and plates of pasta and vegetable options. It's not fancy and it's not a linger-and-soak-in-the-ambience type of place, but that's the point. And that's why it's great.
