Circle Cinemas in Brookline will officiallly close its doors on Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008.
National Amusements Inc. is shutting down the 68-year-old theater because the location is "no longer financially viable."
For those not in the know, this Cleveland Circle staple is a seven-screen, old-school movie theater that's a throwback to the '70s and walking distrance from the Reservoir and Cleveland Circle stations as well as Boston College.
