The bar in
Brighton is well stocked, though most patrons opt for the company of a perfectly poured pint of Guinness; there's a good selection of other beers on tap, including Smithick's, Allagash White, and Dogfish Head 60 Minute IPA, for those adverse to the black stuff. Besides catching live sports on the numerous TVs, regulars pass the time by chucking darts. They don't serve food anymore, so eat before you go. You can go across the street to the pizza place and bring some back if you want.
The Irish Village has been a
Brighton institution since the early 1970s, and was originally a place where Irish folks could meet, congregate, and get a taste of home. Drawing in a wide array of locals quickly, it became a true neighborhood pub, and remains that way today, sponsoring several Irish Village soccer teams and boasting a loyal crowd of regulars.
